Guest Relations - why ?
All tourism-surveys of the last decade show a strong growth of demands and expectations towards social contacts ("socializing") and common activities during holidays. This has helped to develop a system of new services in resort hotels (esp. around the Mediterranean coast) which are normally referred to as (and defined with the French word) "Animation" and with its English equivalent "Guest Relations Programmes". From their former holidays in mediterranean countries like Spain, Greece, Turkey a.o. especially German and European guests are used to this certain type of leisuretime activities and services. Naturally German and many other European guests will expect the same services in other foreign destinations no matter where. This idea has already been transferred to Caribbean destinations like Cuba and the Dominican Republic where Spanish or German based hotel groups are operating a wide chain of resort hotels.
Guest Relations means
